Realization of continuous-outcome measurements on finite dimensional quantum systems

摘要

This note contains the complete mathematical proof of the main Theorem of thepaper "How continuous measurements in finite dimension are actually discrete"(quant-ph/0702068), thus showing that in finite dimension any measurement withcontinuous set of outcomes can be simply realized by randomizing some classicalparameter and conditionally performing a measurement with finite outcomes.
